The State of California is trying to make home-schooling illegal. From the document:
"A primary purpose of the educational system is to train school children in good citizenship, patriotism and loyalty to the state and the nation as a means of protecting the public welfare."
Okay, so the dunderheads have completely failed in THE primary purpose of the educational system which is the three R's but they're going to force everyone to stay in the hell holes know as public shools (or pay double for private schools)? And inculcate our children in loyalty...to what? Trust me I spent 12 years in the Los Angeles Unified School District. They won't be trained in loyalty to democratic principles, free trade or patriotism. Sounds like socialism to me.
I thought homeschooling in California was already illegal unless parents either registered as a school with the state government or operated under a cooperative registered as a school.
