Keep your canon of hymns smaller. We used about 50 hymns for the first two years and are now going to expand it to 75. This enables your congregation to become very familiar with the hymns, to sing them loud and well, and gives them a sense of ownership and vigorous joy in the Divine Service.

Hi Jamie,
Right now we sing 3 hymns and 4 ordinaries. The ordinaries are:
Gloria Patri
Doxology
Nunc Dimittis
Threefold Amen
In August we will sing the same ordinaries, add in a processional hymn (we don't process now but we do sing the threefold amen as we recess) and sing a Psalm each week before the confessional.
